Whether he’s lounging beside his best buddy Spencer, tap dancing at dinner time, or soaking up sunshine during “baked potato season,” Brutus knows how to enjoy life’s simple moments.

As one of our Sanctuary Dogs, Brutus has become a permanent part of the Rocky & The Bark Bunch Rescue family. While he may not be searching for a forever home, he spends his days surrounded by love, comfort, enrichment, and the people who adore him most.

Spencer is one of our cherished sanctuary dogs and a professional expert in all things comfort, sunshine, and naps. Whether he’s stretched out in the warm grass, curled up in dad’s recliner, lounging on the ottoman, or claiming mama’s chair in the shop, Spencer believes every cozy spot is his favorite spot.

Every morning starts the same way for Spencer — full body wiggles, a happy heart, and excitement to greet the people he loves most. After heading outside to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine, he’s usually circling back to grab his beloved “lovey,” a special fish toy he proudly hides under his blanket like treasure.

Spencer has a gentle soul and a calm, loving presence that makes everyone around him smile. He adores his people, enjoys spending time with his rescue friends, and lives for the simple joys in life: soft blankets, warm sunbeams, snack time, and being close to those he trusts.

As a sanctuary dog, Spencer will always have a safe place with us — where he is loved exactly as he is. He reminds us daily that happiness can often be found in the quiet moments: a sunny nap, a favorite toy, and knowing you are finally safe and deeply loved. 🐾

Lettie is one of our beloved sanctuary dogs, and while she may not be the dog for every home, she is absolutely perfect just the way she is.

This sweet girl thrives on structure and routine. A predictable schedule filled with crate rest, play yard time, and visits with her favorite people keeps her happy, comfortable, and smiling from ear to ear. Lettie finds security in knowing what comes next, and that consistency allows her personality to shine.

Lettie is both human and dog selective and prefers a calm environment where she isn't startled or overwhelmed. She has formed special bonds with her foster family and especially enjoys spending time with her foster dog brother, Georgie.

While Lettie may not be searching for a forever home, she has already found her place in our hearts. As a cherished sanctuary dog, she receives the love, understanding, and routine she needs to live her best life every day.
