Meet Our Sanctuary Pups
Some need more time.
Some need extra care.
Some need a soft place to land.
No matter their journey, we are proud to give them the comfort and security they need.
Meet Lettie — our Lettie Betty. 💛🐾
Lettie has come such a long way.
After overcoming kennel stress and skin issues with the help of medication, dietary changes, and lots of care, she is now thriving. Rescued from the animal shelter, she was found roaming the streets with significant injuries, Lettie needed extensive veterinary treatment, including surgical removal of part of her left ear, as well as care for skin issues. Today, she is healing beautifully and continuing her journey toward a happy, healthy life.
A few of Lettie’s favorite things:
🐾 Crates and kennels — she knows the routine
🐾 Treats and snacks — this girl is very food motivated
🐾 Snuggling with her human
🐾 Lounging like the certified couch potato she is
🐾 Dragging her blanket around like her own little Linus
🐾 Throwing the occasional dramatic temper tantrum
🐾 Showing off her famous “bowling ball zoomies”
🐾 Playing fetch
🐾 Carrying her favorite toy around or tucking it safely away in her kennel under her blanket
Lettie can be selective with other dogs, which is understandable given her past. Even so, she has formed a special bond with the resident dog, Georgie, and the two love playing and running outside together.
She can be sensitive to being startled and may show some jealousy when it comes to sharing her person, so to support her emotional well-being and give her the enrichment she deserves, Lettie has been moved to sanctuary care.
Lettie is safe, loved, and continuing to heal — but her care is ongoing.
